soaking up the sun

We may have some severe sunburns on this fair complected girl this summer if this is what is to come....
Kisses from KatKat (Kathy, my mom)
Aren't they beautiful? We got to spend most of the week last week with my parents at my hometown. We had a great time with them. Keep scrolling down for more updates and new posts if you are interested, I've tried to play catch up!

Room Time (with Dacie)

Liv has some play time in her room daily. This time consists of her either in her playpen or just like this on her floor with some toys. I do not stay in there with her. This is the usual scene that I come into after the 'playtime' is over. Dacie is very protective of Liv and loves to make sure she is okay. I usually peek in and Dacie is almost always sitting right next to her. I just love it. Soon, they will be best buds, if Dacie can continue to put up with the pulling of hair and trying to eat her tail!

sipping some water

So Liv LOVES her water and will drink it any way she can get it. But I believe this is her favorite! I have a reusable starbucks cup that I pretty much keep filled with water for myself all the time, if she sees it, she WANTS it! She loves to drink out of the straw. I had to capture some pics of her sipping bc I thought she looked so big doing it!

catching up

Well, I have avoided my blog lately, I don't really know why, I knew this might happen when I decided to start one. I just don't always enjoy doing something like this, I know that sounds weird, but I guess that is the way I am. But after reading a few friends blogs lately and seeing some great updates on their kiddos, I thought I needed to do it! After Christmas, we were blessed to be able to travel down to Dallas with Hal's family as well as my own family to attend the Cotton Bowl, but not only just attend, we were able to sit in Jerry Jone's suite (box) which was the ultimate way to watch football (or hang out, talk, & eat) whichever way you want to look at it! ;) Hal's cousin works for Jerry Jones and was able to hook us up with this special treat! It was a fun time. You might notice the shirt Liv is wearing in these pictures...if you can't read it, it states "My dad loves...me, my mom, and the OSU Cowboys!" She has one in every size up to like size 2, so graciously given to us by 'Sweecie' (Karen, Hal's mom!) :) Hal loves it when she wears them!
